KBH Metro Partner picked for Copenhagen Metro operations contract
Metroselskabet has selected the ComfortDelGro and RATP Development joint venture to run the M1-M4 lines under a 12-year contract worth EUR 2.27 billion.
Metroselskabet has chosen KBH Metro Partner, a joint venture of ComfortDelGro and RATP Development, as the new operator of the Copenhagen Metro M1-M4 lines.[2]
The contract is worth EUR 2.27 billion and runs for 12 years, with operations starting in September 2027.[2]
The agreement includes a three-year extension option and is expected to be signed in September 2026.[1][2]
The venture will take over operations from the incumbent Metro Service on 28 September 2027.[2]
