DigitalBridge to buy Ausgrid's PLUS ES metering arm
The investment firm is taking over the New South Wales utility's digital metering unit in a deal reported at A$3bn.
DigitalBridge has struck a deal to take over PLUS ES, the digital metering arm of Ausgrid, in a transaction reported at A$3bn (€1.84bn), announced on 1 September 2026.[1]
Ausgrid, whose owners include the NSW Government alongside IFM Investors, APG and AustralianSuper, is selling the smart meter unit to the investment firm.[1]
